World record holder Yakubu Wagner will die for fishing... This is what he is about to do. In Big Fish, Jacob embarks on an extreme fishing expedition to the most remote areas of the world, searching for fish that have never been photographed in the wild before - many weighing over 200 kilograms and measuring over 6 meters in length. His achievements have taken us to remote areas such as Congo, Mongolia, Europe, Canada, Thailand, Ecuador, and Peru. Jacob, with all his equipment and supplies, spent several days hiking in the merciless jungle and paddling in the turbulent river. He survived by honing his hunting and foraging skills through nearly twenty years of fishing missions. In these visually stunning adventures, he attempted to land the largest freshwater fish in the Amazon in Ecuador and a giant tiger fish with 32 shark like teeth in Congo. With the help of nomadic reindeer herders, he landed a giant Thai terrier in the icy rapids of the Shishgid River in Mongolia and attempted to capture a giant Northern Pike in the subarctic region of Canada, despite their natural habitat being completely frozen. This series is full of drama and danger. Jacob is stubborn and steadfast, facing the most extreme nature time and time again.
